Origins 2017 'Block 22' Cabernet Sauvignon

Our Stonefields Vineyard is situated on the acclaimed terra rossa limestone soils of the Wrattonbully region. With 2017 representing one of the best vintages the region has ever seen, we couldn't resist releasing a special wine that showcases that exceptional fruit quality. Hand-sourced from a unique block where the vines grow into a solid limestone shelf just beneath the surface, this wine displays rich cassis and ripe berry notes, balanced by assertive tannins, and delicate perfume notes from its maturation in French oak puncheons. A wine for the serious connoisseur, it is drinking well from release but will reward extended cellaring.
